Brazil confident of luring Manchester City’s Pep Guardiola into sensational coup

Brazil want to hire Pep Guardiola as their next manager and are confident they can bring in the Manchester City boss to replace Tite, who is set to leave after the 2022 World Cup.
It has already been confirmed that Tite will lead Brazil to Qatar and then step down from the post he has held since 2016.
Spanish publication Marca report that the Brazilian Football Federation has drawn up an ambitious plan to lure Guardiola into international management.
According to the report, they have already contacted Pep’s agent, his brother Pere, and are ready to offer Pep a salary of €12million (£10million).
It would be a pay cut from the reported €20m (£16.7m) he currently earns at Etihad but still a huge sum for an international manager.
Brazil want to offer the Spaniard a four-year contract until the 2026 World Cup in the United States, Canada and Mexico.
While Guardiola is still in the early stages, the report says CBF (Brazilian Football Confederation) are confident of getting their man.
Guardiola is under contract with Manchester City until the end of the 2022/23 season, so he wouldn’t be able to take charge of Brazil immediately after the World Cup if he stays on for the remainder of that contract.
Brazil could try to tempt him to leave City a year early or stay until 2023 and join this summer.
