Boy, 14, killed and another in hospital after motorcycle crash | British News

A 14-year-old boy has died and another 15-year-old remains in hospital after a motorcycle accident in the early hours of the morning.
Police were called to an accident at Leighton Road, Leighton Buzzard in Bedfordshire at 1.40am yesterday.
The boys, who were both riding motorcycles, were taken to the hospital.
The 14-year-old died in hospital while the 15-year-old is still being treated for his injuries, Bedfordshire Police said.
It is not believed that other vehicles were involved.
A formal identification of the dead boy has not yet been made, but his family have been informed and are being assisted by specially trained police officers.
The Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire Major Accidents Unit is investigating the accident and would like to hear from anyone who saw what happened.
Investigating Sergeant Ben Heath said: “This is a tragic incident and our thoughts are with the families of both victims.”
“At this point it is important that we find out what led to this fatal collision.
“If anyone saw the incident or has dashcam footage that could help shed light on the circumstances, we’d like to speak to you.”
