Boston Calling 2022 Own artist profile: Cam Meekins

Editor’s note: In May 2013, Boston experienced a musical revolution. Launching in the span of 10 short days, award-winning digital arts magazine Vanyaland and groundbreaking major league music festival Boston Calling transformed and uplifted the landscape where music and culture intersected in a city that was previously relatively dowdy. In the nearly decade since, the two entities have been a defining feature of our city, both for its residents and for how it is perceived everywhere else. In Spring 2022, Vanyaland and Boston Calling join forces to showcase the homegrown bands and artists who are helping to shape the Boston Calling line-up of all time. Boston Calling 22’s headliners – Metallica, Nine Inch Nails, The Strokes – and their solid undercard are well known and established; But keep it under wraps over the next few weeks as Vanyaland showcases the homegrown talent gracing the lineup like never before. Nine years later, Vanyaland and Boston Calling continue to present Boston in new ways, and we have the sounds to prove it.
Performance on Sunday 29th
