Boss allegedly catches workers eating delivery orders

A video of a delivery driver being exposed by his boss for allegedly eating orders has gone viral on TikTok.

TikTok user @popzlive posted the video on January 30th. It was viewed over 463,000 times in 24 hours.

The eight-second video takes place in the kitchen of a pizzeria. Inside, a man who appears to be the boss angrily picked up a small box of groceries from the floor and shut it. He said something unintelligible before throwing the food in the trash.

The TikToker contextualizes the situation in a text overlay. “Boss caught him eating deliveries,” he wrote.

The video ended with the boss picking up two delivery bags from the floor. Based on the logo on one of the bags, the incident appears to have happened inside a Pizza Hut.

“Customers kept calling saying food was missing from their orders and it turns out it was him,” added @popzlive in the caption.

In the comments, viewers expressed their sympathy for the worker.

“He should be held accountable but damn that’s sad, I feel like his smile is meant to hide the pain,” wrote one user.

“While I think he should be held accountable for stealing customer food, I can’t help but feel like he’s starving and out of luck,” commented a second.

Other viewers suggested ideas on how to prevent the incident from happening again.

“Why not just put a sticker on the box/bag to prevent that possibility…?” one user suggested.

“Feed your employees, duhh,” suggested a second.

“Damn, don’t let them get food for work there, a personal pan or something,” asked another.
