Boris Johnson is mugged by a student who invites him to a party

The Prime Minister was invited to another party this Friday after being ambushed with an invitation by a young London schoolgirl.

Boris Johnson was wandering the corridors of a primary school in Orpington yesterday when the little girl appeared with a message for the Prime Minister.

“Oh wow, thanks,” he said as he read the invite.

“Dear Mr. Johnson …. Oh… come to our party dear from… that’s so nice of you, thanks.”

The teacher accompanying the prime minister asks the cheeky boy, “Have you invited the gentleman to a party… to our anniversary celebrations on Friday?” … we see each other twice a week, Prime Minister.”

It is unclear if the meeting at St Mary Cray Primary School is planned as a work event or if it will be a BYOB meeting.

But the government will be able to say that the party is not breaking any Covid rules – if only because there are no longer any.

There will no doubt be pictures of Mr Johnson at the event when he performs – but they may not appear for 18 months, and perhaps only after the Prime Minister insists he knew there would be no party on the day.

The latest planned knee high comes after pictures emerged last night showing Mr Johnson raising a glass of alcohol to numerous colleagues in Number 10 at a gathering he said Parliament never took place.

Various lockdown busting incidents have occurred in Downing Street and around Whitehall during the Covid crisis, with the Prime Minister being ‘busted with cake’ at one of them.

Sue Gray’s long-awaited report on Partygate is expected to be released tomorrow, but reckons Friday’s planned shindig won’t be included.
