Boris Becker has been warned he may need to change his hair color so he won’t be easily recognized in prison.

The disgraced former number one tennis star used to have reddish hair but has since dyed it platinum white.

A family member of one prisoner told The Sun: “I’m sure people will ask for his autograph as he’s very recognizable.

“If he doesn’t want to be recognized, he might have to dye his hair.”

A source added that the 54-year-old was “doing well” after arriving at Wandsworth prison in south-west London on Friday.

However, he reportedly kept away from his other inmates.

The former Wimbledon champion and BBC pundit was last week sentenced to two and a half years in prison for hiding £2.5million after filing for bankruptcy in 2017.

He is expected to serve a year of his sentence and then likely be released with a mark.

Becker was convicted of four bankruptcy cases last month after it was discovered he hid millions to avoid paying off his debt.

He was found guilty by a jury at Southwark Crown Court after admitting he blew his £38million fortune through his glittering career in sport.

He claimed “expensive lifestyle choices” drained his finances, as did a costly divorce and payments to support his four children.

Judge Deborah Taylor said he showed no remorse or guilt.

Regarding his previous bankruptcy conviction, the judge said: “You ignored the warning and the opportunity that the suspended sentence gave you, and that is a significant aggravating factor.”

She told Becker she took his “disgrace” into account.

“You have lost your career, your reputation and all your assets as a result of your bankruptcy,” the judge said.

But she added: “You have shown no remorse, accepted your guilt and tried to distance yourself from your offense and your bankruptcy.

“While I accept your humiliation as part of the proceedings, there was no humiliation.”

Tennis champion Novak Djokovic, who was coached by Boris, said he was “super sad for him”.
