The famous TV character known for being able to fix anything has got a new look and people are stunned.

The handyman has been on our screens for thirty years – but his appearance has changed over the years.

Ask someone if we can fix it? and they will probably reply, “Yes, we can.”

But thanks to a viral Twitter post showing off Bob’s new look, many people doubt they’ve fixed it.

Bob, who used to look like a middle-aged man, now looks slimmer and younger to the dismay of fans.

And compare to the bob of the ’90s and ’00s—the new bob has shed its signature denim dungarees.

The well-known household builder, who debuted in 1988, still wears a yellow and orange plaid shirt and yellow helmet.

But now he’s upgraded to more stylish jeans, a sleeveless hi-vis jacket and a trendy sports watch.

But the changes have proved too unbearable for some die-hard fans who grew up with the old bob and called his new look “tragic.”

No Context Brits shared before and after pictures of the character on Twitter and wrote, “Look how they massacred my boy.”

This was met with hundreds of retweets and replies from outraged former viewers, many of whom joked their childhoods had been ruined.

One said: “Can they fix it? No, they broke it instead.”

Another fan described the makeover as one of “the top 10 biggest downgrades in TV history,” while another commented, “I’m getting sick.”

“Why does he look like 12?” asked a distraught Twitter user. “He’s a successful freelance builder – he’s in control of his life, he should be looking the same by at least 35.”

And another person was particularly upset with the current designers giving the character eyebrows, saying: “They gave him frigging eyebrows! Tragic.”

But hardly anyone knew that his appearance had changed a few years ago in 2014.
