Beyoncé’s time on TikTok has come as the global superstar makes her debut on the social media platform with her first-ever post — including a surprise appearance from Cardi B.

Since its release nearly a month ago, the singer’s latest song, Break My Soul, off her forthcoming seventh studio album Renaissance, has had Beyhive members around the world shaking and grooving as they hear the upbeat tune repeated.

While fans watching videos of themselves dancing to the song online might have thought there was no chance they would ever be noticed by the Formation artist, some were wrong.

Beyoncé’s first video, which first joined TikTok late last year, is a compilation of fans dancing, lip-syncing, and singing along to “Break My Soul,” along with rapper Cardi B, RuPaul’s Drag Race star Shangela, and Twitch- Co-host of The Ellen DeGeneres Show is one of them.

The 40-year-old wrote in the caption: “Seeing you all let go of the wobble made me so happy! Thank you for all the love for BREAK MY SOUL! – Love B”, with the hashtags #BREAKMYSOUL and #RENAISSANCE.

She also credited every creator whose video was included in the compilation, a move that received high praise from other TikTok users.

Several fans celebrated her long-awaited arrival on TikTok, with one commenting, “I can’t believe I’m witnessing Beyoncé’s TikTok era.”

“Imagine waking up to find yourself being featured on the official Beyoncé page!” Another wrote, as someone else said, “Seeing everyone in this video made my heart smile because so there was much joy.”

Following the release of Break My Soul, Beyoncé’s full length album Renaissance will be released on Friday, July 29th.

The musician marked the upcoming record release with a stunning cover shoot for British Vogue, in which she wore her most radiant disco dresses while lounging on a motorbike, perched elegantly on a horse and sporting epic chunky heels.

A few weeks ago, she shared a statement about Renaissance on social media, saying it “given me a place to dream and escape at a scary time for the world.”

“It allowed me to feel free and adventurous at a time when otherwise little was happening. My intention was to create a safe place, a place without judgment. A place to be free from perfectionism and overthinking. A place to scream, to let go, to feel freedom,” she said.

“It was a wonderful voyage of discovery. I hope you find joy in this music. I hope it inspires you to release the wobble. Ha! And to feel as unique, strong and sexy as you are.”
