his week, Alonso Berruguete: First Sculptor of Renaissance Spain ends on the Meadows Museum, Southern Methodist College’s excellent artwork gallery. Berruguete (1488–1561), although enigmatic on many fronts, is pivotal within the historical past of Spanish artwork, however he’s largely unknown right here.
