Barcelona’s deal offer for Ousmane Dembele would reportedly require a huge pay cut for the winger.

Barca signed Dembele from Borussia Dortmund for £135.5m in 2017 but he has struggled to live up to the huge price tag.

A mix of injuries and lack of form has seen the 25-year-old miss many games for the Catalan club.

Now he’s officially a free agent after his Barcelona contract expires on June 30.

Corresponding Sport, Barca’s latest contract proposal is his last and the club have made it clear to Dembele’s agent Moussa Sissoko.

However, accepting this offer would mean the player would have to take a massive 40 percent pay cut.

As a free agent, Dembele can negotiate with any club he likes, with the winger said to be aware of interest from Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain.

Meanwhile, the Blues have suffered a major blow in the pursuit of Leeds United’s Raphinha.

Despite the west London club agreeing a £55m deal with Leeds, rising to £60m for the Brazil international, Barca are reportedly ready to come up with a £60m package of their own.

Raphinha’s preferred destination is the Camp Nou and Barca are said to be hopeful of completing the deal.
