Australia’s Arryn Siposs is hoping to play for the Philadelphia Eagles

This would be the first Super Bowl for the Aussie, who started his NFL professional career with the Detroit Lions in 2020 and switched to the Eagles in 2021. Siposs was acquired by the Saints with pick 75 in the 2010 AFL draft and played with them until then in 2015.
“I obviously wasn’t lucky enough to be a part of a big AFL finals day,” he said. “I know this is going to be a big event.”
If he plays for the Eagles in the Super Bowl, he will take the field with another Australian but with an NRL connection – former South Sydney junior Jordan Mailata, who signed with the Eagles in 2018.
“He’s a great person and obvious [this] is something we look forward to together,” Siposs said of Mailata.
He described the Eagles team, which includes Australian Matt Leo, as a gathering of athletes with unique skills.

“Honestly, there are some guys here who are 1.90 meters tall and they can still run under five seconds [over] 40 meters in the sprint. It’s amazing, they just move so well. Then of course you have the fast wide receivers, which are incredible to watch in terms of speed,” Siposs said.
“That’s probably what makes this game so unique, there are so many different roles that it takes to go there and perform them.”
