At least one person injured in morning shooting in Dorchester – Boston News, Weather, Sports

DORCHESTER, MASS. (WHDH) – Boston Police Department are investigating after one person was injured in a shooting in Dorchester on Wednesday.

Authorities said it was around 10:40 a.m. when the Boston Police Department received a call about a shooting in the Thetford Avenue area.

Officials told 7NEWS that one victim was later located and taken to Boston Medical Center for treatment as police began investigating the scene.

A SKY7 camera spotted an area near the junction of Thetford and Evans Streets that had been taped off by police opposite Thetford Evans Playground.

Details on the condition of the victim or possible suspects have not yet been released.
