Asake Performs “Yoga” & “Organise” on “The Tonight Show”

Nigerian singer Asake released his new album last year Mr Money with the mood which was met with critical success. He unveiled the music video, directed by TG Omori, for the song “Yoga” produced by Magicsticks in January. Now he has brought the track to late night television along with “Organise”.

In a lively performance The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, Asake breathed life into the songs and gave them a special meaning. Back when he released the music video for “Yoga,” he said it was “about minding my business and keeping my peace so no one can disturb it.”

Tragically, in December, at his sold-out concert at the O2 Academy Brixton, two women died after a barricade ransom. It was reported that “a large crowd attempted to gain entry without tickets”, resulting in emergency services being called.

Asake tweeted about the chaotic year, “Too many ups and downs, twists and turns, but God is forever greatest. Thanks to everyone who made 2022 great for me, words cannot explain. May God bless 2023 for us. Blessings and glory.” He also shared a lengthy statement that he was “overwhelmed with sorrow” at the horrific situation.
