Atalanta is interested in signing Arsenal left-back Nuno Tavares but the two clubs reportedly disagree on the terms of a deal.

Tavares has struggled to stand in for Kieran Tierney since he joined the Gunners from Benfica last summer.

The north London club are believed to be keen to cover for left-back this summer, with Bologna’s Aaron Hickey linked with a move to the Emirates Stadium.

Gianluca Di Marzio claims that Serie A club Atalanta are eyeing a move for Tavares.

However, Arsenal are said to have requested either a regular season-long loan move or a £34million loan deal with an option to buy.

The report states that none of these conditions are in line with Atalanta’s expectations at this time.

Meanwhile, Porto have confirmed the £34million transfer of Fabio Vieira to Arsenal.

The attacking midfielder is the third signing for the north London club after Alex Turner and Marquinhos.

Arsenal are still pursuing further signings, with Manchester City’s Gabriel Jesus and Leicester City’s Youri Tielemans strongly linked.
