Arsenal are aiming to sign Man City winger Raheem Sterling alongside Gabriel Jesus

Arsenal are reportedly ready to sign Manchester City winger Raheem Sterling.
Mikel Arteta has made signing a new striker one of his top priorities for the summer transfer window, but the Arsenal manager is also open to bolstering other areas of his attack.
Sterling has just one year left on his contract with City this summer and the 27-year-old is yet to agree on a new contract.
Arsenal have already started talks to sign Gabriel Jesus and it is understood the Brazil international is ready to reconnect with Arteta, who he worked with at City.
But according to The Telegraph, Arsenal are also monitoring Sterling’s situation and would be ready to make a move this summer if the winger were made available from City.
The report claims Arteta would be ready to make Sterling a “focal point” of Arsenal’s attack, although the move is conditional on the Gunners qualifying for next season’s Champions League.
Discussing Sterling’s future earlier this season, Guardiola insisted the England international was a “key player” for City.
“No one doubts how important he is. He shows that. I want all players to play well,” Guardiola said in February.
“If we count the number of games he’s played since we’ve been together, it’s a lot. He was a key player. In the future? I don’t know what will happen. The club decides.
“When the club expands contacts, I give my opinion, but the club always makes the decision.”
