Arden Hill fills council seats after Dave McClung’s death – Twin Cities

David Radziej has been selected to serve on the Arden Hills City Council through the end of the year, filling a vacancy left by the death of Dave McClung last month.

The city council at Monday’s meeting appointed Radziej, who has been on the city’s economic development committee since 2014 and the financial planning and analysis committee since 2012. Rah-dgee) was one of 10 who applied for the council seat.

In November, voters will decide who ends the remaining two years of McClung’s term. McClung, who had been on the board since 2007, died on 1 December after year long battle against cancer had him attend meetings remotely. He is 53 years old.

Radziej is executive vice president of the union-affiliated Minnesota Plumbing, Heating, and Cooling Contractors Association.
