‘Karens’ run rampant. They have been documented in shops, parking lots, etc. and causing problems. This time, a Boston local “Karen” went viral on TikTok after being caught on camera in the parking lot of an apartment complex accusing a tenant of not living there.
The video was posted by user Tyler Dilisio (@tylerdilisio) after what he felt was a long day working as a construction worker. In the clip, Dilisio sits in his parked car while a woman waves her hands at him outside his window.
As he rolls down the window, the woman says, “I’ve got your plate, you’re going to be in real trouble. You’re in the car and I have to park here.”
Dilisio replies that he “parks here” because he “lives here”. The woman then demands that he “get out” and that he “doesn’t have a car pass.”
The dispute escalates when Dilisio claims to have a car pass and that it “is none of that [her] Business.” The “Karen” then accuses the TikToker of “not living there,” though she claims to “see him often,” and demands that he move his car so she can park there.
Dilisio doesn’t have it and says “this is how it works now” while rolling up his window. The ‘Karen’ calls him a “disgusting piece of shit”. He replies “your mother,” which stuns the woman, who causes her to bang on the window as she walks away.
Dilisio vented his frustration in the caption, writing, “Got home from work, parked in my paid parking lot and gotta deal with this shit.”

The video was viewed 36 million times on Friday, as viewers mocked the woman for accusing Dilisio of not living there, despite seeing him often.
“How can she see you there CONSTANTLY and conclude you don’t live there?” asked one viewer.
“‘I see you a lot,’ I mean, that usually happens when you live in the same area with someone else,” commented a second.
Others praised Dilisio for the way he treated the neighbor.
“That has to be the standard for how we deal with Karens,” said one viewer.
“Finally someone who handled a Karen best when rolling up the window,” agreed a second.
“Finally someone who doesn’t just let people or Karen talk to her… I approve of this video,” wrote a third user.
