“Turn on audio playback and check the volume before putting anything in your ear.”

Apple takes care of your health by letting iPhone monitor how often you listen to loud music.

Apple explains: “If you listen to loud headphone audio long enough to damage your hearing, iPhone will automatically send you a notification to turn down the volume.

“After receiving a notification, the next time you plug in or connect your headphones via Bluetooth, your volume will automatically be set to a lower level. You can turn the volume back up if you like.”

The iPhone settings section has a special headphone security feature.
