‘Apparently my 2-year-old knows how to order DoorDash’: Texas toddler shocks mom by ordering 31 cheeseburgers from McDonald’s

Texas mom Kelsey Burkhalter Golden got a big surprise last week after her toddler stole her cell phone and ordered 31 cheeseburgers from McDonald’s.

Barrett, 2, snagged his mom’s phone to play digital games but ended up buying dozens of burgers through DoorDash.

The mother from Kingsville, southwest of Corpus Christi, took to social media this Sunday to tell followers that she’s in possession of “31 free McDonald’s cheeseburgers if anyone’s interested.”

“Apparently my 2-year-old knows how to order DoorDash,” she joked in the post.

‘[H]We only ate half of it.’

Alongside the message, the mother posted a photo of Barrett sitting on a table chewing a cheeseburger next to a stack of McDonald’s MCDs wrapped in yellow paper.

Golden further elaborated on the funny moment Local news channel KRIS, and explained that she was using her computer when her son took her mobile device. She thought nothing of it and thought he was just playing around with the camera.

“He usually likes to take pictures of himself, and he did. I thought I locked the phone but apparently I didn’t because then DoorDash came with 31 cheeseburgers,” she told the outlet.

“I didn’t know what to do with it – he only ate half of it – so I posted on a community page on Facebook FB,

In conversation with KHO 11, Golden noted that she hopes to discourage her son from making large and unintentional grocery delivery orders in the future. “I guess I have to hide the app or something because DoorDash isn’t protected,” she revealed.
