AP Bullet Found in Peabody’s Home, State Police Bomb Squad Responds – Boston News, Weather, Sports

PEABODY, MASS. (WHDH) — Associates with the Massachusetts State Police Bomb Squad responded to a home in Peabody this week after a homeowner found what police described as an “apparent piece of military regulation” in his home.
Police said the homeowner found the property on Monday.
Soldiers responding to the scene later identified the item as an old British 3-pound anti-tank grenade, according to state police. The officials were able to successfully eliminate the round, the state police said.
