IPHONE owners should enable this quick hack to improve user experience.
Apple users with an unfriendly ex-partner or rival colleague can reduce that person’s visibility in their photo album without deleting photos.
“Apple’s Photos app has a Memories feature that shows you algorithmically curated collections of photos and videos based on various factors such as dates, holidays or places visited,” reported The Next Web.
From time to time, Memories will present the user with a photo containing an ex.
Unfortunately, the iPhone fails to realize how uncomfortable or painful this can be for the user.
To remove this person from the code that powers Memories, open the Photos app on your device.
Pick a photo of your ex with their face clearly lit – you just have to look at this photo one last time, we swear.
In the bottom left corner, click the Share button – it’s a rectangle with an arrow over it.
Scroll through the pop-up menu – you’ll see a red line of text that says “Feature a Person Less”.
You can choose to show one person less or not at all.

The Next Web expanded its hack to include memories of dates and locations.
In the Photos app, click the For You tab.
Scroll through your reminders and choose which collections you want to see less of or delete them entirely.
The changes made to reminders by the user are permanent – a deleted reminder cannot be restored.
Perhaps this hack is the first step in getting past an ex — it will surely reduce the frequency with which old photos resurface.
