Conte is keen to strengthen his Spurs squad this summer and the club are expected to back the Italian in the transfer market after securing Champions League football.
Tottenham were just eighth in the Premier League when ex-Chelsea boss Conte took over, but Spurs have endured an excellent second half of the season to move Arsenal into fourth place.
Conte believes reinforcements are necessary to face the Champions League and wants Spurs to sign a new striker, centre-back and central midfielder.
According to the Daily Telegraph, Tottenham are now in the running to sign Man City striker Jesus and are ready to fight for a deal against arch-rivals Arsenal.
The Gunners emerged as front runners to sign Jesus earlier in the month but their failure to secure Champions League football could sway the player’s decision.
Jesus has spent six seasons with Manchester City, scoring 95 goals in 236 appearances and helping the club win four Premier League titles, three EFL Cups and the FA Cup.
Jesus speaks after City’s last Premier League title triumph admitted his future at the Etihad was “uncertain”.
“My future is still uncertain,” Jesus told ESPN Brazil.
“I have a contract with City and have already expressed my wish to the City people and my agent. I have in my head very clearly what I want.
“Today I want to celebrate a lot with City. It’s obvious that I’m very happy here. Tomorrow if all goes well for me, my wife and our family Helena [his daughter] will come into the world.
“So I have to seize this moment. Then think of the team, smile at the team again. And on vacation I decide about my future.”
