Amy Childs explained that the Towie cast members have supported each other following the recent tragedy.
Reality star Yazmin Oukhellou, 28, was hospitalized with injuries from a horror car crash in early July, with boyfriend Jake McLean, who is believed to be driving at the time.
They were in Turkey where their Mercedes went over a 70ft cliff – despite the best efforts of the emergency services, McLean’s life could not be saved.
A week later, TV personality Lauren Goodger shared the heartbreaking news that her baby Lorena died after being born on July 8th.
Towie alum Amy, 32, revealed the ITV cast have put all the drama aside and focused on being there for one another in difficult times.
“People think we always have drama, but when something like this happens we all come together and work as a team,” she told the Daily Star.
“We always support each other and are always there for each other. We’re on a TV show, but at the same time we’re a huge family,” she added.
It was recently reported that Lauren suffered a fractured eye socket hours after she and her ex Charles Drury, 25, held a funeral for daughter Lorena.
After Lauren’s attack, a spokesman for the Metropolitan Police told Metro.co.uk: “Police were called at 00:37 on Thursday 4 August to investigate reports of an altercation at a residential address in Upminster, Essex. to obtain.
“A 25-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of assault. He was taken to a police station in east London and subsequently released on bail pending further investigation. Inquiries continue.’
While opening up about the impact of the crash and McLean’s death on her, Yazmin said she struggles with nightmares.
“I’ve had nightmares every night since the accident,” she told The Sun.
“I didn’t stop waking up at night because of it. Mom stays in bed with me every night.”
