An Amazon delivery driver bragged about his ad on a viral TikTok prompting other delivery drivers to join.

Ulises Perez (@ulisesperez19) is an Amazon delivery driver and TikTok content creator with over 20,000 followers. He regularly posts videos about his work at Amazon. His December 2 video of being promoted from Amazon warehouse worker to delivery driver has gone viral, with over 641,600 views and 24,900 likes to date.

“That used to be me right there,” says @ulisesperez as he zooms in on a busy Amazon warehouse floor.

The camera cuts to him smiling proudly in a delivery truck. “This is me.”

Amazon Flex Drivers are paid much less than UPS drivers, averaging $18-$25 per hour. The shipping giant was also recently fired for warehouse working conditions, especially during the peak holiday season.

While Perez appeared to love his job and take great pride in his promotion, some of the 640 commenters cited his versatility.

“Now you have to drive and unload the garbage yourself? Great flexibility,” said @brtncogeoffery.

“Please pay more for these heroes. Jeff is a billionaire like cmon,” suggested @laltgos.

“Join a union,” urges @sheereeeeshnokizzy.

However, many fellow and aspiring Amazon employees chimed in with questions and positivity.

“Idc what people say, I love my job at Amazon. Well paid and I love what I’m doing,” said @gokha12.

“Have to wait another year, b4 I could be one of these,” @tonus27 commented.

“Go ahead! I used to load 18 wheels and now I drive one. So much better on the other side,” commented @kingduckunderground.

The Daily Dot has reached out to Perez and Amazon Flex for comment.
