Popular Twitch streamer Alinity recently stated that she’s tired of people tagging her on Twitter when her favorite streamers are blocked.
Alinity has been an incredibly divisive figure on Twitch. Countless viewers have claimed that the streamer has been given “special treatment” that keeps her from being banned. Aside from that, Alinity has been the subject of several animal cruelty-related scandals, but has been cleared of any wrongdoing by animal welfare services.
Whenever dr. Disrespect was mysteriously banned from Twitch in June 2020, viewers have linked Alinity to the ban. Although this alleged connection has no apparent basis and Alinity has denied any involvement, it seems that the streamer still has this issue. Viewers have since made it a trend to keep tagging Alinity whenever a major streamer faces a ban. With the banning of Sodapoppin, Veibae and more, the Canadian-Colombian streamer has seen another significant surge.
In a tweet, Alinity vented her frustration. “It’s been 3 years. People still tag me when their favorite streamer gets an unfair ban,” she said. The Twitch partner’s tweet drew support and sympathy for her constant harassment.
“They won’t say shit if you win Streamer of the Year,” said Mizkif’s channel manager Rosii. called. “Literally at the peak of my career ‘You fell off’,” Alinity called, mocking viewers trying to discredit her. “I don’t think they would stop Rosii.”
Alinity hasn’t made it clear what recent streamer ban might have caused her to be tagged en masse again. While Alinity clearly has some support to deal with the trolls continuing this three-year trend, this still seems to be a regular occurrence.
