Adele clarified what she said in her latest Super Bowl meme

Last weekend Adele kept her word to attend the Super Bowl – only to see Rihanna. And of course, in true Adele fashion, the “Easy On Me” hitmaker saw herself as the meme.

In Adele’s latest memes, she’s sitting in the stands at the Super Bowl as the camera pans to her. She looked fabulous in a pantsuit with a matching handbag, accessorised with large sunglasses.

The clip was taken just before Rihanna’s halftime performance, and it’s not entirely clear what exactly Adele is saying.

Last night (February 17) during her Weekends with Adele Staying in Las Vegas, she clarified exactly what she was saying.

“It’s hard work being a constant meme,” Adele joked.

She continued, saying, “I said she’ll be fine. She will have some weed and will be fine. But obviously she couldn’t have weed because she was pregnant,” suggesting she was as surprised as we were when she revealed that she was pregnant for her second child last weekend. So it’s probably not likely that Rihanna had weed after the performance.

In a recent interview with British VogueRihanna revealed that as a new mom, she doesn’t have much desire to go back to her partying habits.

“You’re literally trying to remember it – and there are photos of my life before that – but the feeling, the desires, the things you enjoy, everything, you just don’t identify with it because you don’t even mentally identify with it allow it to come this far because… because it doesn’t matter,” she said.
