“The study suggests that a low 3 µg dose of our vaccine, carefully selected based on safety data, provides high protection against the new COVID-19 strains in young children,” said Dr. Ugur Sahin, CEO and co-founder of BioNTech, in a press release. “We are preparing the relevant documents and expect to complete the submission process to the FDA this week, with filings to the EMA and other regulators to follow in the coming weeks.”
