A missing person is being searched for Emmanuelle Dayes in the Hornsby area
The area included rivers, streams and dense bushland and the search continued.
Members of the public with information have been urged to contact Crime Stoppers.
After being informed of Dayes’ disappearance, police opened an investigation on Thursday and urged the public for information.
“She is described as being of Caucasian appearance, 1.70 meters tall, of slim build, with brown eyes and short gray hair,” the police said in a statement.
Police said Thursday that Dayes “is known to visit the areas of Berrilee, Maraylya, Dural and Hornsby” as well as bushland near McCallums Road in Berrilee.
