A dumpster-diving couple’s giant Taco Bell sign is going viral

Stolen or salvaged signs are a home decor classic loved by college students across the country. But you rarely see an example as impressive as the giant Taco Bell sign in this viral TikTok.

This post from TikToker Angelina Knight (@angelina__knight) has garnered over 1.3 million views in three days and is short and sweet. It shows her in front of her house with the caption, “Well my boyfriend works for a garbage company and always brings home ‘treasures’ and that’s what he brought home today….”

The big reveal features a massive Taco Bell sign – at least 6 feet tall as you would see it mounted high up on an outside wall.

“Dumpster diving is our hobby,” Knight commented on the video.

“Not what I meant when I asked you to bring home a taco bell after work,” joked another commenter, while another TikToker revealed they had the same sign at home: “Man has the same sign in the damn garage. Only thing he brought when we moved in together, plus some Buffalo Wild Wings mugs.”

Meanwhile, Taco Bell itself has inevitably gotten involved. The brand’s official TikTok account also responded in the comments section, simply saying, “He knows gold when he sees it.”

Good luck to Knight and her friend in finding a use for this shield. It’s certainly a conversation starter!
