7Weather – We expect a fine Wednesday, and then wet weather on Thursday afternoon/evening.
Temperatures start out in the low and mid 40’s on Wednesday morning and then we rise into the low and mid 70’s for most locations. There will be high thin clouds giving us filtered sunshine throughout the day.
Thursday morning will be mostly cloudy with temperatures in the mid and high 50’s so not too chilly. It will remain cloudy for the rest of the day, with some rain showers starting around 15:00. Expect scattered showers for the afternoon/evening commute, but there could be a lull in rain just after sunset.
The main event takes place on Friday between 00:00 and 02:00 with intermittent heavy rain and windy conditions. The rain will continue until 7-9am Friday morning and then the sky will gradually clear.
We do not expect damaging wind gusts from Thursday night through early Friday morning but there could be occasional gusts of between 40 and 50mph along the coast on the north and south coasts and in the Cape and Islands. You will definitely hear the wind and rain from Thursday night through Friday morning.
We expect 1″-2″ rain from this system. Beneficial rain for New England!
Saturday will be bright and mild with highs in the mid 60’s. Sunday will have a mix of clouds and sun with highs in the upper 60’s. All in all, a great autumn weekend is ahead.
