1. Patron leaves $200 in tips for 7 restaurant employees

A generous customer stepped forward to support all the staff at his favorite restaurant in Colorado, USA. The customer deposited a whopping $1,400 in addition to his $20.40 bill. According to the instructions on the bill, this amount will be divided among seven restaurant employees. On his bill, the customer also drew a large smiley face and wrote, “Covid sucks. $200 per employee today.” His wonderful gesture went viral on the internet.

2. The girl next door surprised with a birthday cake

In a post by Chicago-based food blogger @genie_cooks, she told how her daughter came up with the idea to surprise her neighbor who lives alone. When Genie’s daughter, Danya, earlier came to talk to the neighbor, he mentioned her birthday. So then Danya marked the neighbors’ birthdays on the calendar and bought groceries to bake before going to school.

3. Restaurant owner reacts to people eating leftover pizza from the trash

A viral Reddit post shows a photo of a touching message taped to the glass of a restaurant. The message is posted there by the restaurant owner, delivered to the people eating from the restaurant’s trash can. The message reads “To those who are eating all my trash. I love you more than you think. Just come in and tell me you’re hungry; I’ll forever give you a new slice of pizza and fresh water to drink. God bless.”

4. The special man helps the man who sells fruit to his sick mother

In a video uploaded by Youtuber Ted Kunchok, we can see a man strike up a conversation with an exceptionally healthy fruit seller named Anu. When Ted asked about his business and why he sold oranges, Anu explained that he had been selling oranges for a while because his mother was sick at home. He also claimed that business has been damaged by low tourist numbers as a result of the pandemic. At the end of the video, Ted can be seen buying all the fruit from Anu.

5. The man who promised Diwali mithai to every delivery agent

We all know that Diwali can be the busiest time of year, especially for food delivery agents. During this year’s season, one Twitter user showed his appreciation for their hard work by gifting them boxes of mithai! In @chiragbarjatyaa’s post, he wrote, “Every delivery boy in the next 4 days gets sweets from me” and shared an image of a pile of delicious Mithai boxes. Many people appreciated his act of kindness and also praised him.

6. Bengali woman distributes wedding leftovers to the poor

In a post made by wedding photographer Nilanjan Mondal, she shared a photo of a woman sharing wedding leftovers among the needy. Mondal recognizes the woman as Papiya Kar, who is feeding the poor with leftovers from her brother’s wedding. The incident happened on December 5 at Ranaghat Junction, a station on the Kolkata suburban railway line. In the photos, we can see the woman wearing a traditional wedding dress and serving the food herself on paper plates.

7. Family snacks left for delivery agents

A family in Mississippi, USA, decided to help their delivery workers during the holiday season by leaving some delicious snacks and soft drinks on their doorstep. In a post made on Facebook, we noticed several chips, cookies, snacks and juice neatly stacked in a basket. There’s also a decorated Christmas tree and banner that reads “Merry Christmas! To our delivery drivers, thank you for helping with our holiday shopping! I became easy,” the family wrote.
