BOSTON (WHDH) – Locally elected officials cut the ribbon at South Station Tower, a 51-story building that will connect to South Station.
The tower offers condominiums, hotel rooms and office space.
Governor Charlie Baker said it was a great investment for the city.
“This is about a $100-$150 million reinvestment in South Station, separate and apart from the work involved in building the tower,” he said. “The bus station and the access it offers to people involved in multimodal activities will be very important.”
The project is expected to last up to four years.
