TOWNSEND, MASS. (WHDH) – A 5-year-old is in critical condition after he was pulled from a pool in Townsend on Saturday, officials said.

Officials responding to reports of a child in a pool on a Bayberry Hill Road on Saturday afternoon found the 5-year-old had been pulled from an above-ground pool, Middlesex prosecutors said. The child was taken to a Boston hospital and is in critical condition, officials said.
