2022 Wells Fargo Championship: Live Stream, Watch Online, TV Guide, Tee Times, Radio, Golf Coverage

With the 2022 Presidents Cup being hosted at Quail Hollow Club later this year, the Wells Fargo Championship has a new home this week at the TPC Potomac at Avenel Farm outside of Washington DC. Shot lead into Sunday.

While it may not be familiar to some, it has hosted both this event and the Quicken Loans National for the past several years. If you go back further you will find that this course was the home of the old Kemper Open (which became the Booz Allen Classic in the early 2000s). It’s no stranger to the PGA Tour, and now some of the best will be turning up once again for one of the bigger events between the Masters in April and the PGA Championship in two weeks.

Rory McIlroy is the headliner, and he should be. He has won this event three times – albeit all three when it was held in Quail Hollow – and is the defending champion. He also finished with a 64 in the finals of the 2022 Masters, where he lost to eventual champion Scottie Scheffler with three losses.

With how much hype there is about him for the Southern Hills PGA in a couple of weeks, every move will be dissected. He will be joined by Tony Finau, Matthew Fitzpatrick, Corey Conners, Webb Simpson and Abraham Ancer in what was set to be a competitive weekend. Throw in Brandon Matthews, who is perhaps the longest good player in the world, and this weekend’s celebrations should be a great show – especially with McIlroy on the hunt to secure last year’s win. So you can get in the mood for all four days.
