2 women shot, 1 killed in St. Charles near the casino

ST. CHARLES, Mo. — An investigation is underway after two women were shot dead and one was killed near a casino in St. Charles on Saturday afternoon.

The shooting took place at approximately 3:30 p.m. at Block 100 of Amersitar Boulevard. According to police, one woman died from her injuries and another is being treated at a hospital.

The scene was near the Ameristar Casino Resort, although it’s unclear exactly where the women were shot. Police said the area was cleared around 4:30 p.m. on Saturday.

Police tell FOX 2 that they have an idea who the suspect may be, but have not yet released the potential suspect’s identity.
