15 Cuban migrants arrested after landing in the Florida Keys
MONROE COUNTY, Florida. – Federal agents detained 15 Cuban migrants after their ship landed in the Florida Keys early Saturday morning, according to a senior US Border Patrol official.
Chief Patrol Agent Walter N. Slosar, who heads the agency’s Miami sector, tweeted that the migrants made landfall at Key Colony Beach around 5 a.m
According to Slosar, the people have left the Matanzas region.
He shared a picture of their ship named Con La Bendicion De Dios.
Slosar did not confirm whether migrants were injured.
